The power of today’s personal computers, allowing features such as real-time collection and movie playback, has revolutionised the way in which experiments are done. Using these software it is possible to collect full image data without loss of quality, and recall it time and again for repeated analysis. This greatly reduces the time pressure on clean or process samples within the UHV environment and allows experiments (such as I(V) and (I)t using LEED and Oscillation and streak spacing analysis using RHEED) to be done at a later time.

Using an advanced configurable interface board, signals can be accepted both in analogue and digital form. Count rates up to 20Mc/s can be analysed per counter. Five channels are available for multi-channel analysis. Standard energy control is by a DAC output but other control systems can be considered. Features such as fast samples set up mode and a comprehensive data processing package provide an invaluable aid to the user.

We have a wide range of fully integrated multitasking analysis software for Windows XP and Windows Vista like RHEED, LEED, AUGER, Lab v iew, Virtual Surface Science Workstation, Scanning Electron Microscope, X-ray photo electron spectroscopy, Scanning electron and AUGER microscopy, Electron Gun Controllers. Reflection high energy electron diffraction

Reflection high energy electron diffraction uses a finely Collimated electron beam with energy of 10–100 keV. The beam irradiates a sample surface with grazing incidence to obtain forward scattered diffraction patterns.

Low Energy Electron Diffraction

The Low Energy Electron Diffraction experiment uses a beam of electrons of a well-defined low energy (typically in the range 20 - 200 eV) incident normally on the sample. The sample itself must be a single crystal with a well-ordered surface structure in order to generate a back-scattered electron diffraction pattern.

SEM/SAM Surface Science Software

Secondary Electron Microscopy ( SEM ) - which provides a direct image of the topographical nature of the surface from all the emitted secondary electrons.
Scanning Auger Microscopy ( SAM ) - which provides compositional maps of a surface by forming an image from the Auger electrons emitted by a particular element.

Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Engineering Workbench

Laboratory Virtual Instrumentation Engineering Workbench ties the creation of user interfaces (called front panels) into the development cycle. Lab view programs/subroutines are called virtual instruments (VIs). Each VI has three components: a block diagram, a front panel, and a connector panel.
